A little about me...
Hello, I'm so glad you are here! I'm a busy mom of 2 (10 and 12 year old), pilot wife, and dog mom of 2 wild Giant Schnauzers.
I completed my Masters degree in Occupational therapy (2006) and truly loved working with my patients in a holistic way. I worked with neurological and orthopedic conditions, as well as many other diagnoses. I'm pivoting my career to empowering women to discover the root cause of their health concerns through at-home functional medicine labs. We will look at several areas of lifestyle components, nutrition, stress, and use targeted protocols and supplements to restore energy and feel like yourself again.
Last year, I struggled a lot with abdominal pain and after giving many pills, colonoscopy, physical therapy, neurologist, and several chiropractic visits I never really figured out the root cause of my pain. I know what it's like to leave a doctor's office discouraged that "well try this, but not even sure what is going on" method. That's unsettling. I'm here to help empower you to take charge of your health for the long term.
Some other fun facts about me: I love spontaneous travel and I'm always up for a getaway. I eat a piece of dark chocolate pretty much every day. Lifting weights is my favorite form of exercise. Nature and being outside will forever be my happy place. Thank you for being here and I'm honored to play a role in your health journey!
